This new book by Amanda Gee is a charming children’s
picture book with beautiful illustrations by Lee Holland.
The book will give much pleasure to young children, and
no doubt parents will be asked to read it again and again.
The book is presented so that children can combine the
spoken word with the colourful illustrations. It offers the
opportunity to talk about animal life, the preservation of
nature, and of helping others in need also young children
will simply love the little fox!

About the Author

Amanda Gee is, in her own words, “a crazy animal
person.” The Fox in the Box is her first children’s rhyming
picture book. The author lives in Clare Suffolk. She has
dedicated her book to “all those wonderful people who
stand up and speak out for those without a voice.”

Earlier this year County Councillor Mary Evans contacted the Co-op
national HQ to get an ATM back in Clare following the ram raid last
year which destroyed the old machine. She contacted them
regularly to check on the progress and finally her efforts were
rewarded. Once a new machine was installed the Co-op press
office offered to donate some footballs to the local football club.
Some also went to Clare primary school.

Youngsters playing for Clare Town Lions Junior Football have now
been presented with a set of 10 replica European Championship
footballs as part of the Co-op's nationwide campaign to promote
active and healthy lifestyles in local communities.

The presentation was made at the club's Annual Presentation Day
by Clare's County Councillor Mary Evans and Emma Dye, manager of
the town's Co-op store.

including Harris & Harris in Clare, Kestrel Books in
Sudbury, Landers in Long Melford, Harts in Saffron
Walden, Between the Lines and The Blue Egg in Great
