The new outlet is based in Rodbridge just outside Long Melford
and is open to the public :
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9am to 6pm,
Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9am to 8pm,
Sundays 10am to 4pm.

Both fresh and bottled beer is available from the shop.

The shop always has 6 ales on tap fresh from the brewery.
Typically: Suffolk County, Stour Valley Gold, Nethergate GB
and Old Growler, and two specials that change weekly.

Belgian beers, ciders and a selection of wines from Nethergate
Wines. We stock pork pies, sausage rolls and scotch eggs from
Lavenham Butchers.

The shop is well arranged with seating for up to 20 people and
space for more outside on picnic tables. There is a small garden
and decking area at the rear with plans for further
development. The bar and garden will be be used for BBQs and
special events.

At the front of the shop there is a large car park which is perfect
for thirsty visitors who travel by car. A bus stop is conveniently
located just outside for visitors who prefer not to drive and a
set of bike racks are now available!

Offsales
Beers can be purchased as single bottles, cases, gift packs and
fresh beer boxes of 18 or 36 pints.  Our Fresh beer from the bar
is available to take away in several sizes from 2 pints to 9 pints.

Having a party? Why not rent a cask? Nethergate can provide
all the equipment you need for 72 pints of their fine, fresh beer.

The new Nethergate brewery shop and tap

For visitors who wish to enjoy extra benefits from
Nethergate there is a membership scheme. For an
annual cost of £40 members receive 10% off all
products in the shop or from the bar, a free Nethergate
polo shirt plus a free brewery tour for themselves and
2 friends they will also be able to enjoy the benefits of
the regular members nights.

Although the shop is up and running the brewery will
take longer to transfer and the new brewing facility is
not expected to be operating until October.

How is it done? Once our new brewery is up and
running (hopefully October), we will be running
brewery tours once a day, where you can gain a full
understanding of how the brewery works and sample
a few of our beers along the way. For the more
dedicated beer lover, we will also be offering Brewery

Local Brewers, Nethergate Brewery started over 30 years
ago in Clare, near Long Melford. But when it grew too big
for the Nethergate Street premises, it moved to rented
farm buildings in Pentlow, just over the border in Essex,
where it has been for the past 12 years.

Now the brewery is in the process of moving again this
time to a brand new facility in Rodbridge that will include
a warehouse, new brewery, and cold store. To one side of
the new brewery Nethergate has opened a shop and tap
room where customers can buy bottled or freshly brewed
beers. The new premises will also allow the brewery to
offer brewery tours and event

 facilities.
