STP Stationery has had a retail shop on Camps Road corner in Haverhill for over thirty years. For half of that time there
has also been STP Computers in the next door shop. In October those two businesses will start to relocate to join the
rest of the STP Group at Rookwood way.
Managing Director, Robert Stevenson, explains “For many years the stationery retail shop offered a selection of products which were not
available at another retailer in town, but with new shops and supermarkets having arrived in Haverhill it has meant that customers have been
able to pick up their stationery items with their weekly shop and as a result we found that it was mainly photocopying services and print car-
tridges that we were selling”. “The computer side of the business has also evolved and now primarily supplies and supports IT networks for
schools and businesses in addition to installing and maintaining photocopiers. This is especially so with Haverhill PC Bureau now becoming
part of STP earlier this year. This has meant that the retail shop and workshop are now too small for those types of products”. It therefore
makes sense to service all of STP’s customers from one warehouse location where a larger workshop has been built and there is more ware-
house space for photocopiers and related products.
To still provide a local service to shoppers in the town, STP have formed a partnership with
TVL Video in Camps Road who will offer a photocopying service and stock the most popular
printer cartridges. The warehouse and offices at 1 Rookwood Way have parking for cus-
tomers to drop off their computers and IT products for repair thereby making it easier for
people rather than having to carry a heavy item through town or find a parking space near
the shop.
Office products are delivered to local businesses on a next day service using the
company’s vans and drivers, and orders can be placed by calling 01440 708686
