In recent times many magazines have moved away from
producing a paper copy to publishing on the Internet instead.
The latest is a magazine called ‘Victoria’
Aimed at women aged 50 and over, Victoria is an online
community and magazine created by consumer-goods
company Procter & Gamble. Amid the many articles about
fashion, culture, home, family and health are details of the
company’s products such as Fairy, Non Bio and Lenor, com-
plete with discount vouchers. Yet, for a corporate site, it’s
head and shoulders above standard fare.
Its editors include TV’s Carol Vorderman and there are some
top journalists on board writing fresh lifestyle pieces.
