Trumpet Concerto. Our solo trumpeter is the young Cameron
Johnson who has gained wide recognition for brilliant perform-
ances throughout his teenage life, resulting in scholarships to
attend the Royal Academy of Music, Guildhall School of Music
& Drama and Royal College of Music.
The famous Italian composer Rossini returns to Sudbury, this
time withThe Overture to the Thieving Magpie in which the
magpie's theft of a silver spoon nearly causes a falsely accused
servant girl to lose her life. We finish the evening with

Symphony,one of this Rus-
sian composer's greatest works. It has also been described as
one of the boldest and most colourful symphonies of the 19

The Twelfth Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre takes place at
the end of November and will extend from the historic Angel
Hill and Abbey Gardens to the modern Arc shopping centre.
The Fayre will consist of the regular street market and some
excellent entertainment, it’s a great day out for all ages. With
over 300 stalls selling a variety of gifts, crafts, food, seasonal
produce and much more, there is something for everyone.

10am to 8pm
Saturday 28th November 10am to 8pm
Sunday 29th November 10am to 5pm
Thursday evening is a locals evening with special late night
shopping offers, free refreshments, discounts on fairground
rides and free parking. The evening will finish in spectacular
style with fireworks in the gardens.
Friday andSaturday are a great time to visit to sample the
atmosphere and wander around with a hot chocolate.
The entertainment and fairground will go on until 8pm and
there will be lots of activities for children.
