LED Lights for Clare this Christmas

This year Clare Town Centre will be illuminated
by strings of modern LED lights.
The LED lights will replace the aging filament bulbs that have
been used in previous years. The LED lights offer a number of
advantages - they are much easier to maintain and store and
the running costs are also much cheaper.
Clare Christmas Lights Committee have invested a large sum of
money in acquiring the new lights but they are confident they
will pay for themselves in just a few years.
The committee raised most of the money through community
events during the year. They were also well supported by the
Clare business community and local shop keepers who helped
with generous donations.
