In the summer months Mark will be producing a
range of BBQ products, including handmade
kebabs and ribs which can all be marinated in
a selection of delicious seasonings/marinades.
This year he is introducing a new exotic
BBQ selection including marinated meats
and kebabs such as BUFFALO,
CROCODILE, KANGAROO and ZEBRA.
So it’s time to dust off the barbeque, get out
and enjoy the summer sunshine!

ark Humphrey believes the reason for his shop’s
success is its emphasis on traditional butcher’s shop
values. His friendly approach combined with his high quality
produce has created a winning formula. Mark is always quick
to greet customers with a friendly smile and he and his team
are on first name terms with many of their loyal customers.
Humphrey’s stocks a wide range of produce including fresh
meat, poultry, cooked meats, cheeses and fine deli items.
As much produce as possible is sourced locally. The shop stocks
Blythburgh free range pork, Mr & Mrs Middleditch’s lamb from
Belchamp, Ducks from Thaxted, Banham chickens from Norfolk,
and Suffolk chicken breasts. He also ensures that his local beef is
hung for 21 days or over for the best condition.
All burgers are handmade and Humphrey’s sausages are
made from a traditional recipe handed down using fresh
breadcrumbs, seasoning and filled in natural casings.
Hams are cooked on the premises using local gammon and
the shop sells dry cured bacon, sliced to order on their vintage
bacon slicer.
With quality produce and a friendly smile it is easy to see why
this attractive shop is so popular.
In a modern world, where the customer is often ignored in the
search for profit, it is good to find a shop where the traditional
values of quality produce and excellent customer service are
still the ones that matter.
