Visitors to Clare Country Park will have noticed repair work
under way on some of the buildings in the park. The work is
part of a a major refurbishment programme that started in May
and is expected to run through to the end of August.
Building Works in the Park:
The works started with a full refurbishment of the toilet block
which included a new sewage system.
Work then moved on to include major repairs to the Station
Master’s House. This includes significant internal works to con-
vert the house into a desirable family home.
Other refurbishments will include improvements to the Visitor
Centre and the Waiting Room as well as a major re-surfacing of
the car park. It is hoped these works do not spoil visitors enjoy-
ment of the park which will remain open during the changes.
