The Kings Head at Ridgewell
After over a year of refurbishment, the King's Head opened again in
the Summer last year serving fine ales, ciders, wines and delicious
food all freshly prepared on site by our two local chefs.
Almost 6 months on, the Kings Head continues to offer a varied
menu, changing on a daily basis, with fresh fish being offered on
Friday evenings and over the weekend. On Sunday's we offer a
traditional English Roast Dinner.
This beautiful building retains much of its original charm and
character. Throughout are stunning wooden beams, open Inglenook
fire places, tiled and wooden floors and a warm, relaxed setting to
welcome any weary traveller.
The private side garden is a lovely spot to enjoy chatting and catching
up with friends or family. Well behaved children and dogs are
welcome.
The King's Head is a 15th century Free House that nestles in the heart of
Ridgewell, a picturesque village on the Essex/Suffolk border.
